Simple Search PR was created out of necessity. The Puerto Rico real estate market is much different than FL, NY, or other major US markets. Information is scarce in PR and there’s no functioning MLS. Other typical US property websites like Zillow don’t have many listings in PR and the listings that do exist are typically higher priced properties targeting under-informed buyers who might be moving to the island for the Act 60 (formerly Act 20 and Act 22) tax incentives. Instead, Clasificados is the main source of real estate listings, but the functionality of the website is limited.
